Digital Empowerment Foundation
Deputy Manager - Media & Communications
India
I am a former journalist who works with Digital Empowerment Foundation as Deputy Manager – Communications & Media. In this capacity, I have been involved in design thinking, bringing out communication material and taking on various research and visual documentation projects to highlight the socio-behavioural impact of digital inclusion and the effects of digital exclusion in rural India. I have also contributed to the design and development of DEF's digital literacy and MIL toolkit, and deliver these trainings to first-generation computer users. Let's talk about how the Internet is revolutionising the villages of India, and what does it take to make rural India digitally and media literate?
