Facebook, Inc.
Privacy Policy Manager, Law Enforcement Access and Data Protection
I am so excited to be attending my second RightsCon this year. I joined Facebook's privacy policy team in February to work on law enforcement access and data protection issues. This includes issues like surveillance and other data access laws, cross border data request processes, data localization, encryption and technical assistance, social media surveillance, and much more. Before joining Facebook, I spent nearly five years working at New America's Open Technology Institute, where I was a Senior Policy Counsel and Government Affairs Lead on surveillance and cybersecurity issues, and before that I worked on many of the same issus at the American Civil Liberties Union's Washington Legislative office.
