Hadiya Masieh is an expert consultant in the area of community cohesion, interfaith relations, counter extremism, and women’s involvement in extremism and radicalisation. Her experience spans over 22 years. She has been a counter extremism consultant for various Governments and NGOs worldwide. She has worked with both nonprofit and commercial organisations including Google and Facebook. Hadiya was: Part of the UK Government’s “National Muslim Women’s Advisory Group” Co-Author of the report “Radcalisation and violent extremism-focus on women” and UN women report Gendered Pathways to Radicalization and Desistance from Violent Extremism UK Ambassador for Women Without Borders promoting counter extremism narratives A board member of the internationally renowned and award winning peacekeeping organisation The Bereaved Families Forum based in Palestine and Israel
