Brent Jensen is the online community coordinator for New Tactics in Human Rights with the Center for Victims of Torture (CVT). He is responsible for overseeing the program’s online presence, including website, social media channels, online community, web applications and e-learning platform. Together with an outside developer, Jensen conceptualized and steered the creation of the Tactical Mapping Tool. Prior to joining CVT, Jensen worked in marketing and communications with People to People International of Kansas City, Missouri, and IN Food Marketing and Design in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With a partner, Jensen also founded a graphic design studio in Des Moines, Iowa. He has also consulted for a variety of organizations. Jensen holds a master’s degree in global and international education from Drexel University and bachelor’s degrees in journalism and mass communication, as well as graphic design, from Drake University.
