Together at RightsCon Tunis, our first summit hosted in the Middle East and North Africa, more than 2500 expert practitioners will come together across over 400 sessions to shape, contribute to, and drive forward the global agenda for the future of our human rights.

Althea is the Director of Hate Speech Programs and the Africa Lab at PeaceTech Lab. She has worked for over a decade in the broader peacebuilding field, with expertise in nonviolent movements, civil resistance, and corporate-community conflicts. Prior to working at the Lab, Althea worked on Education and Field Programs at International Center on Nonviolent Conflict from 2005-2016 and was a Curriculum Development Specialist for the Global Campus in the Academy at the United States Institute of Peace. Althea has an M.A. in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and a B.A. in International Affairs and Development from George Washington University.
