Over the last two years she has worked with the conflict monitor, Airwars, to reconcile civilian casualty allegations with belligerent reporting, via direct engagement, analysis and modelling, including geolocation. She led the design of Airwars' public archive and was recently seconded to Amnesty’s Crisis Response Team for the investigation, "Rhetoric versus Reality: War in Raqqa". She is a board member of the Journal of Digital War.
