Together at RightsCon Tunis, our first summit hosted in the Middle East and North Africa, more than 2500 expert practitioners will come together across over 400 sessions to shape, contribute to, and drive forward the global agenda for the future of our human rights.

I am passionate about gender issues, and it has been my area of expertise in the last 15 years. I am currently working with SecDev Foundation in Ottawa to launch a MENA program for digital safety of women, directly addressing the issue of online violence against women. I have previously consulted on numerous gender projects in the MENA, and have also been the Executive Director of HarassMap Egypt. My Phd was completed in 2014, and published in a book in 2019, 'Negotiating the Power of NGOs.'
