Rebekah works for HRFN and supports organization-wide planning, learning and evaluation processes and provides administrative and logistics support for our member engagement programming. She recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a Morehead-Cain Scholar with a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science. During her time at UNC-Chapel Hill, Rebekah’s interests led her to Thailand to work for a community-based development non-profit, to Washington DC to serve as a researcher for Amnesty International’s Advocacy and Government Relations Division, and to Hong Kong to study abroad and research Hong Kong’s diplomatic history. She has published research on grassroots NGOs in Kenya that advocate for women’s environmental rights and she developed and taught an original course on local agents of right-based justice in Chapel Hill to UNC undergraduate students.
