Welcome to the Official Schedule for RightsCon 2019, the world’s leading summit on human rights in the digital age.

Together at RightsCon Tunis, our first summit hosted in the Middle East and North Africa, more than 2500 expert practitioners will come together across over 400 sessions to shape, contribute to, and drive forward the global agenda for the future of our human rights.

Hanene Zbiss

Hanene Zbiss is a Tunisian investigative journalist and trainer. She won several international awards like Samir Kassir Award for Freedom of press (2014) and Raef Badawi Award for Courageous Journalists (2019). She was nominated for the Global Shining Light Award in 2015.
Mentor with ARIJ (Arab Reporters for Investigative Journalism), since 2013, she is also member of the International Consortium for Investigative Journalism (ICIJ) and Environmental Investigative Forum (EIF).
She is very active in managing and coordinating training programs for Tunisian and Arab journalists in investigative journalism. She is teaching investigative journalism in the Press Institut and information Sciences (IPSI) in Tunisia.
She is also the President of the Francophone Press Union's Tunisian Section (UPF).
She hold a master degree in Media Science and Technologies from the Mediterranean School for Advanced Studies, University of Pavia (Italy) and University of Tunis.
