Online Media and Misinformation: You ask, youth answers

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

When it comes to online media, young people are both key users and content creators. Their experiences with the challenges of misinformation, censorship and how this could impact media in the future should put them as experts at the center of discussions about where online media is heading. During this session we will do just that, putting Tunisian youth center stage to explore their vision for the future of online media, and understand how it is shaped by their experiences as media consumers and producers. We invite you to step away from discussions between academics, NGOs, or traditional media - join a conversation with young Tunisians and leave with inspiring and critical sparks to fuel your thoughts for the rest of the conference. How do youth consume media? What are the main challenges they face? What do they expect from online media? You ask, youth answers! This session is moderator by Shams Radhouani Abdi and has been organised by Al Khatt and Free Press Unlimited.

The language of this session will be in Arabic. Translation English / Arabic and Arabic / English is available.
