Open Society Foundations Program Specialist
Tunis Governorate, Tunisia
I am a program specialist at the Civil Society Engagement Program, under the MENA program of Open Society Foundations. He supports the work of OSF on independent media, policy research & advocacy, and community organizing. I'm interested in meeting with organizations in these three fields and learn about their work.
Background:
over 8 years of experience as an economics journalist and 3 years of experience in policy research with an MA degree in International Relations focussed on Conflict Resolution and Peacebuilding, from Syracuse University.
I am a survivor of a severe injury in both eyes that caused me permanent visual impairment in the context of January 2011 Egyptian uprising. As a survivor, I became committed to the cause of building sustainable peace and support those who got harmed and still have faith in peaceful coexistence.
