I am currently responsible for policy and strategy planning, global trends research in Kakao. Developing mid to long term policy planning and strategies by studying industrial and technological trends in the fields of new technologies such as AI and blockchain, mobile messenger and media, data, digital economy and transformation.
Especially in the field of AI, publish the 'Kakao AI Report', covers Kakao's AI technologies and services, and global AI topics related to AI. I’m also concerned about AI's ethical issues and corporate social responsibility, and looking for technology and policy for a better world.

Prior to joining Kakao, I worked for Samsung’s Display division for about 12 years. At the beginning of my career, I was in charge of technology development and product design. For the next 10 years, worked in R & D planning, technology and strategic planning. I’ve worked on Open Innovation while promoting next-generation technology development based on US, Japan and Europe research centers, and collaborating with global research institution and companies.

Majored in Information and Communication Engineering at school, and studied Business and Strategy at Graduate School. Based on interest in new technologies and industries, and various perspectives and experiences, I’m looking for the direction of science, technology and policies for a better world.
